Milestone Cottage Retreat is a well established boutique seaside accommodation sanctuary located at Mangawhai Heads, 80 minutes north of Auckland on the East Coast.

Situated within a sub tropical garden and around a central palm fringed croquet lawn are six self contained, individually designed cottages.

Each cottage has its own unique kiwi style design and is carefully positioned within 2 acres of lush sub tropical garden to ensure privacy and your own utopia. The property is across the estuary from the famous Mangawhai Sand Dunes.

Some cottages have views of the sea and others look into the garden.

Steps lead down through coastal bush to a sandy bay below. Here you can swim, kayak, walk or bird watch. The cottages are directly across from a world recognized bird sanctuary, home of the endangered fairy tern.

Mangawhai Heads is a quiet beach resort on the North Islands stunning East Coast. White sandy beaches, azure water and spectacular views to the Hen and Chicken Islands are part of the attraction of the area.
